My philosophy is simple:
Show the world something it hasn't seen before.
I get a thrill out of being able to make the ordinary extraordinary, to bring to light what most people don't bother to pay attention to, and find the beauty in the every day things.
My inspiration comes from my mother. She is an artist herself and has done everything from photography to needlework to jewelry. I remember looking her photographs and how amazed I was that she could take an every day object or saying and turn it into an great work of art.
As a student, I know there is still much to know as I continue on my artistic journey. My work will continue to evolve, but my mantra will stay the same.
Inspiration:
"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
